History Snapshot
Fields of Daisies!
Henry Middaugh settled
here about the mid
1850's. He purchased
nearly 300 acres. Henry
ordered fine grass seed
for his livestock but
instead received daisy
seeds, which soon
multiplied and spread
far and wide. This had
an impact on the village
and they celebrate by
having a street fair in
June called "Daisy
Days", plus a Christmas
Walk in December.
Small town charms with
